Dr. Gradstein works at our Mumford Clinic
Dr. Roetka Gradstein joined the Department of Family Medicine at Dalhousie in 2021. She completed her Masters of Education from Mount Saint Vincent University in 1999 and Medical School/Family Medicine Residency from Dalhousie University in 2009. She ran a community family practice for 12 years and developed this into a supportive, collaborative group with multidisciplinary team members. Her special interests are family medicine obstetrics, medical education, medical abortion, multidisciplinary collaboration, group medical visits, breastfeeding medicine, medical humanities and system improvements in primary care. She is constantly seeking expanded scope and practice improvements and leaning into the discomfort of change. She has also enjoyed locums in NWT, medical humanitarian work in Haiti and geriatric/long term care work.
She has two children and two pugs.
